In a significant show of support, Citrus Community College District Trustees Cheryl Alexander, Patricia Rasmussen, and Anthony Contreras announced today their endorsement of fellow Trustee Mary Ann Lutz in her bid for Congress.

Trustees Alexander, Rasmussen, and Contreras join forces to support Lutz, citing her unwavering commitment to education, strong leadership, and passion for public service as critical attributes she will bring to the halls of Congress.

“Mary Ann Lutz has demonstrated exemplary leadership during her time as a Trustee and in her other elected positions,” stated Cheryl Alexander. “Her vision and steadfastness are exactly what we need in Congress, and I am proud to stand with her.”

“Mary Ann is an advocate for affordable, quality education and is dedicated to the service of our community,” said Patricia Rasmussen. “Her extensive experience and commitment make her the ideal candidate for Congress.”

Anthony Contreras echoed these sentiments, adding, “Mary Ann Lutz has the skills, the integrity, and the passion to represent us effectively in Washington, D.C. She is the clear choice for those who care about the future of education in the United States.”

Mary Ann Lutz is running for the 31st Congressional District to represent the people of the San Gabriel Valley.  As a business owner and having served as Mayor and Councilmember along with Trustee, Lutz is uniquely qualified to champion the issues that matter most to her community, including education, healthcare, and economic development.

“I am incredibly honored to have the support of my esteemed colleagues, Cheryl, Patricia, and Anthony,” said Lutz. “Their endorsements speak to the strong, collaborative relationships we’ve built while serving our community. Together, I believe we can bring about the change and leadership our district desperately needs.”

This endorsement is a significant step in solidifying Lutz’s candidacy as the one to watch in the upcoming Congressional race. Her campaign continues to gain momentum as she earns the trust and support of key stakeholders in the community.
